BATANGAS CITY, pumasa sa Good Financial Housekeeping ng DILG

Ginawaran ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) CALABARZON Region at Province of Batangas ang Batangas City ng certificate of recognition sa pagiging passer nito sa Good Financial Housekeeping na bahagi ng assessment ng Seal of Good Local Governance for 2016.

Pumasa ang lungsod sa Good Financial Housekeeping dahilan sa ipinakita nitong pagsunod sa “principle of transparency and accountability in fiscal administration”.

Ayon sa DILG, Batangas City, ibinase ang mahusay na financial management ng Batangas City sa “Unqualified or Qualified COA Opinion of the immediately preceeding year, Compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) of Local Budget and Finances, Bids and Public Offerings e.g., Annual Budget, Statement of Receipts and Expenditures, Annual Procurement Plan or Procurement List, and Bid Results On Civil Works, Goods and Services and Consulting Services, among others. FDP Portal in the web and the posting of FDP documents in 3 conspicuous places within the city such as City Hall entrance, Bay City Mall and SM City Batangas.”

Ang certificate ay iniabot ni City Administrator Narciso Macarandang kay Secretary to the City Mayor Atty. Reginald Dimacuha bilang kinatawan ni Mayor Beverley Dimacuha. (PIO Batangas City)
