Mayor Eddie Dimacuha convened the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (CDRRMC) this morning to prepare the city with the possibility of typhoon “Ruby” hitting the Southern Tagalog Region including Batangas.

 

Mayor Eddie Dimacuha convened the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (CDRRMC) this morning to prepare the city with the possibility of typhoon “Ruby” hitting the Southern Tagalog Region including Batangas. The council formed the Incident Management Team with P/Supt Romel Tradio as the Incident Commander and P/Supt Manny Castillo is the Operations Chief.

To have more access to the CDRRMC, the council is establishing another Disaster Operations Center at Barangay Ilijan aside from the Office of the City Administrator. The council is also meeting with the officials of the coastal barangays to discuss the disaster preparedness plan that would be implemented.

Mayor Dimacuha said that the City Government is doing its best to ensure the safety of the people. He also urging his constituents to pray for the protection of Batangas and the whole country from the onslaught of the said typhoon.
