Different schools in Batangas City participated in the Pasinaya 2015 Open House Festival of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) on February 15 in celebration of the Arts Month every February.

The groups of Batangas State University, University of Batangas, Lyceum of the Philippines University of Batangas, and Casa del Bambino Emmanuel Monetessori performed folk and modern dances depicting the Batangueño culture ancd traditions

The VSR Dancers, Lipa Actors Company, and Sining Kumintang performed for the provincial government of Batangas.

Pasinaya 2015 celebrates art forms like dance, theater, music, literature, film and visual arts with this year’s theme, “Pasinaya grows ASEAN Wings”. It featured more than 100 shows with more than 3,000 artists.

The CCP also conducted the ASEAN Performance Arts Market on February 13 and 14.

This annual event of the CCP aims to raise awarerness and development of arts and culture.
