Judging for the Search for “Most Eco-Friendly Healthcare Institution” in Batangas City started yesterday, February 17.
The judges for the this search are representatives of the Department of Health, Phil. Medical Association, Mother Earth Foundation, Environmental Management Board and Healthcare Without Harm.
The judges made a thorough inspection of the hospitals and looked into their waste dispposal management, greening iniatives, and participation of the hospital personnel in the environmental and sanitation practices.
This search was lauched by the City Government by the City Environment and Natural resources Office in August 2014 to promote clenliness and anti pollution efforts in the hospitals.
