City gov’t. employees nagsanay sa effective communication

Sumailalim sa tatlong araw na Seminar-Workshop on the Introduction to Effective Communication ang may 40 kawani ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Batangas noong ika-29 hanggang ika-31 ng Hulyo sa Teachers Conference Center.
Ayon sa head ng Human Resource Management and Development Office na si Aurea Castillo, layunin nito na mabigyan ang mga empleyado ng sapat na kaalaman hinggil sa tamang pakikipag-ugnayan at pakikitungo sa mga taong pumupunta sa kanilang tanggapan at ang isang paraan nito ay sa pamamagitan ng epektibong komunikasyon.
Isa aniya ang effective communication sa Top 3 learning interventions/skills na kailangan ng mga kawani ayon sa Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) na kanilang isinagawa.
Nagsilbing resource speaker at trainor si Jonathan Chiong De Leon na isa ring teacher at consultant. Siya ay dating speech trainer at consultant sa ABS CBN Talent Center at Star Circle, Viva Artist Center, at ng Professional Models Association of the Philippines.
Ilan sa mga paksang kanyang tinalakay ay ang four components ng communication na kinabibilangan ng listening, reading, writing at speaking kung saan dapat matutong maging mahusay ang mga empleyado.
Binigyang diin din niya ang kahalagahan ng personality development partikular ang pagkakaroon ng self- confidence upang mas maging epektibo ang pakikipag-ugnayan.
Pinuri ni De Leon ang lokal na pamahalaaan sa pagbibigay ng ganitong uri ng pagsasanay. "This kind of training aims to discover themselves, their strengths and using their strengths, to be able to serve the betterment of the community,” sabi niya.
